Today poor baby Rasc gets neutered. Sad day at my house for a few reasons- Rasc is the best dog I've ever had and I would be sooo upset if something happens to the little guy. Secondly, Rasc gets so nervous and I am truly the only person in the world that he feels safe around and I am worried once I take him to get his balls chopped he won't trust me :[. The fact of the matter is it must be done. It would be cruel to let Ruby have more puppies. Physically this has been a huge toll on her fragile little body.
Pray for baby Rasc.
Secondly, After Rasc comes back from ball surgery, I am going to bury to sell my clothes to uptown cheapskate. Its this new store in Salisbury and they sell secondhand clothes- my fav! I have taken my stuff there before and they give you alot. I am expecting to get atleast a $100 for the bag I am taking today. It has a $200 pair of true religion jeans in there that just don't fit anymore. Also bringing in some Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and pretty much my entire collection of Hollister. I can't stand Hollister's clothes! They are not made for a woman with a butt at all!! We actually studied them in one of my classes and their target age is like 12-20 or something ridiculous so thats another good reason to get rid of them haha. And lastly I am taking in five Vera Bradley bags that I bought cheap off ebay. I could probably sell them on ebay and get more but I like the instant cash factor at Uptown Cheapskate.
Well Have a lovely day!
PS. I AM DONE WITH ALL MY CLASSES AND EXAMMMMMMMS

ramblings
This has been such a weird week for me. I can't get over the fact I am done with school friday. Its just like, then what?! HIRE ME?! haha Well I do have a few prospects if nothing in my "field' (whatever the hell that is) doesn't line up. Nicole said she would hire me at her store if I feel like driving an hour...and Diane at Cato said if I didn't have a job by May I could potentially take a 2nd assistant position if hers leaves. I am worried about the Cato thing because I have been 2nd assistant there before and LOVED it. Like I would have stayed there for years if things lined up right. I got a good raise and was saving up tons of money. Definitely the most money I had ever had before. But, I really think I am worth more than a job at Cato.
When I first started college I was torn between fashion major and art. In the longrun I decided fashion would be more profitable and I was more passionate about that. Now in hindsight I wish I knew how much I loved housing and interior design. I totally would have picked something related to that- and my major actually does cover housing so I guess It wasn't a total loss. My degree is actually in "human ecology" those 2 words leave alot of room for guessing haha. Anyhow, quite frankly I don't even know what I am rambling about- I think my cold medicine is getting to me. Ok have a great day!

ah damn
I've been sick and haven't slept in 2 days! Its such a catch twenty two because I haven't been able to sleep because Im up every hour having to pee and im up every hour having to pee because I drink so much tea throughout the day trying to get rid of my sore throat! I went to walmart last night looking for some therapeutic bubble bath to help with my cold and I ran across this stuff that proved to be quite wonderful.

It was very foamy and smell fantastic. It has Eucalyptus, rosehips, and chamomile. Anyhow It is comparable to the line of therapeutic stuff at bath and body works and this bottle was only 5 bucks. Much better price than bath and body works.
Anyhow pray for me I am hoping to be better before my graduation and celebration festivities :]

me me me
This whole blog thing is silly because I feel like all I ever do is talk about myself but....oh well.
Well I haven't had my hair cut in 2 months and people with short hair know that is kind of a long time. It is starting to get blah, flat, unbouncy, and just not doing what I NEED it to do. I have been thinking I was going to grow my hair out for the wedding and have ultimately decided against that. I am going to grow out my bangs-They pretty much became side bangs about a month ago so thats done haha. Anyhow I am really tired of having long hair (fascinating I cut it in August and I am still SICK thinking about it being long again haha) So tomorrow I am getting a new hairdo. Anybody that knows me knows that I love re-inventing myself so this new hair every 2 months is pretty fun. I am also contemplating getting it dyed before I go to vegas. I am going to give it some more thought after I have this haircut.
Today mom and I traveled to where she was born and grew up, Ridgely, Fetherlsburg, and Denton Maryland. She lived in ridgely but had family throughout the other towns. I haven't been there since my mommom died when I was 13- so its been about 10 years. I drove and memory led me all throughout the towns. We stopped where my great great aunt and uncle were burried and put a christmas wreath on their grave. I never remember meeting them but mom talks so fondly of them both, it makes me wish I knew them too. We also stopped where my mommom, poppop, and aunt Elsie are burried. I really wish I could have known them more too. I am so jealous of people with grandparents that they get to know really well. Anyhow a good day was had and we found a 1938 fiestaware utility tray which is something I didn't have. OH I brought my fiestware book with me and in the book it was apraised at 42.00 and the owner had it marked as 65.00. We asked if they would match the book price and they did! Pays to be a smart antiquer.

graduation, olive oil, wedding dress.
Well I graduate next week in about 9 days. I have never had so many mixed emotions about any single event like I have graduating. Some days I am really exuberant and happy. Some days I am really proud of myself and weepy that I actually did it (which I really didn't think I would). Some days I am sad and never want school to end. Some days I am all three of these and in the same car ride I will be giddy and happy then turn to gloomy and sad haha. I am really going to miss school. I love my teachers, I love all the crazy people I met in the past five years, I love the campus. And I hate people who are negative about UMES...If you don't like it transfer, if you don't go there then you have no reason to hate it!!!
So a few days ago I told you that I was going to switch to olive oil and forgo all of my face washes, lotions, and EVERYTHING. Well I have. I haven't touched any face wash, face scrub, astringent, or moisturizer, I even gave up foundation and just used concealer. My face is looking 100 percent better. I can't believe slathering oil on my face has cleared up my oily skin but it did, and it made my dry skin moister. Skin really does change. When I was 12 I started using Oxyclean. I swore by that for atleast 5 years and then all of a sudden it stopped working. Then I switched to Cetaphil which was amazing up until here recently. I guess my face has gone through another transition. Plus, I actually look forward to washing my face with olive oil. It is actually kind of fun haha.
Lastly, I ordered my wedding dress yesterday! So here is the story. Last monday when I went and tried on wedding dresses I fell in love with this one dress. I didn't decide on it right away because there was a dress coming in that I still wanted to try on (they showed it to me in the catalogue). So yesterday they gave me a buzz that it came in and I tried it on and the catalogue dress looked AWESOME. But I still really really loved my original dress so that is the one I went with. I feel so bridal in the one I ordered, its modern, yet traditional. I just can't describe it without giving it away!

olive oil
my skin has been so wacky lately and financially I just can't afford to buy product after product. So I have been seeking things in my house to clear up my skin, and help with my wrinkles (being in your 20's is such a bitch). Anyhow few months ago I started using honey and raw sugar on my face as a scrub. My face looked very luminous and i loved the results. Then I stopped doing that and all but forgot about it.
I read some blog about all of the positive attributes of olive oil for the face and it kind of clicked. For thousands of years people used olive oil for cleansing, and all of the really nice expensive face care products have olive oil in them so why not try it. So I will update you in a few weeks about how that is going. On a side note some girl on the blog shared her skin care daily routine and I nearly fell out after I read all this crap she does. Who on earth has time for all this?
Morning:
- wash with Cetaphil Anti-bacterial Soap
- Gently exfoliate with a synthetic (soft-bristle) facial brush from Walmart
- Rinse with cool water
- Moisturize with Kiss My Face Vitamin A&E lotion
Night:
- Apply extra virgin olive oil to face to melt away make up
- Wash with Cetaphil Anti-bacterial Soap
- Gently exfoliate with a synthetic (soft-bristle) facial brush from Walmart
- Rinse with cool water
- Gently exfoliate with baking soda, then rinse
- Apply ACV & water (1:1) to face, let dry 10 minutes then rinse with cool water
- Apply DDF 10% Glycolic Toner
- Spot treat with tea tree oil diluted with water (only do this occasionally on spots that won't go away)
- Moisturize with Kiss My Face Vitamin A&E lotion
Daily....
- 3000 mg's of B5
- 2 tbps of organic flax seed oil
- mulit-vitamin
- ortho-tricyclin
- bare minerals make up
- 8-10 glasses of water
- 5 cups of de-caf green tea
In all honesty I do almost all of this but it looks like alot when written down :P

dresses part 2
On Monday Jess and I went to try on dresses and we found my dress, the bridesmaid dresses, and the flower girl dress. They all match PERFECTLY. I still have one more bridal gown I want to try on just because I really like it in the catalogue, but if that doesn't work than I am buying the one I fell in love with Monday. So it was that easy....I can't believe how easy wedding planning is. If I knew it was this easy I would have had a shorter engagement haha.
So I know what your thinking...you want some details right?
Well my dress is still a secret. But the bridesmaid dresses, well they are a seacret too :] Come to the wedding and you will find out!!!!
