This week was New York's fashion week. Alexander McQueen also recently died so I feel it is fitting to share some of his works of art. I call his shoes art because they look miserable to actually wear.
I wanna say these shoes are inspired by the renaissance. Women used to wear ridiculously tall shoes to keep their elaborate dresses off of the streets...which were very nasty. 
I actually love this shoe. This is probably the only one of these shoes I would actually attempt to wear! 
These shoes are simliar to the shoes McQueen designed for Lady Gaga's music videos. Anyhow, take some time to learn about him or google his fashion shows. They are definitely a must see.
