-I was watching Hannah Montana and there was a girl on their with pink hair and it reminded me of my wild teenage years when I wanted Short pink hair, tattoos, and a nose piercing, bellybutton piercing, and Lord only knows what else. Thank goodness I got over that.
-Today I saw a girl carrying a Gucci handbag, wearing Prada sunglasses, a fabulous shirt, 6 inch heels and leggings as pants. WTF. I guess she spent so much on the rest of her outfit that she couldn't afford pants?! oh and she was definitely no skinny minnie.
-my boyfriends dad asked me to join a facebook group called "Don't you hate it when you get dick slapped with a smegma infested penis" or something to that extent. so I mentioned this to Alex and he acted like it was the most normal thing ever. I just don't know what I am getting myself in to!
Ok well I think that covers it :] tata

The average woman falls in love 7 times a year...
and only 6 of those times are with shoes.
Top 10 favorite Designers/Brands:
-Betsey Johnson
- Kenneth Cole (more as a person than designer)
-Marc Jacobs
-Lily Pulitzer
-Ralph Lauren
-Kate Spade
-Zac Posen
-Tiffany & Co.
-Donna Karen
-Juicy Couture
This just reminded me how much I love Kenneth Cole. I have never seen a bag, shoe, dress, or anything that this man has made that I did like but I greatly respect him as a designer. Most importantly I love the statments he has made through his advertising. His advertising is more about the message than the actual product he is selling. He does alot of ads about aids awareness, homosexuality, and political campaigning. I just love his intelligence and his love for the world. I read an awesome book on him and I suggest everyone read it. (Footprints by Kenneth Cole)

fashion majors color and look at magazines all day.
NOTTT. You know how in college everybody has that one or two classes that is absolutely essential to whether or not you graduate? well I am in part two of my class and I am kicking ass and taking names in it! It is Textiles II and it is the heart and soul of fashion merchandising. In textiles I we learned the basics of fabric construction, fabric care, fabric names, we looked in microscopes to see what the fabric is made up of. You can hand me any piece of fabric and I can burn it and by the smell it gives off I can tell you if it is thermoplastic (polyester, nylon, etc..), natural (wool, angora, etc..) or if its a cotton, linen, etc. It is very fun. So i passed that class and now I am in Tetiles II which is basicallly fabric testing. UMES has the second best textiles lab in the United States and I feel so fortunate to be able to use it. We do the same testing on fabric that they do to test astronaut suits. There is so much to this class and I never thought clothing and textiles were so complex. Just think. Fashion merchandising literally deals with everything tangible. The carpet we walk on, sofas we sit on, clothes we wear, drapes hanging in our living room, interior of our cars, the clothes that protect firefighters, EVERYTHING.
Anyhow, I say all this to say...I screwed myself. I went into college picking fashion because I enjoy it and I thought it would be EASY. Boy was I kidding myself. Atleast I have grown a tremendous amount of respect for the industry and myself.
CIAO.

bad mood, bad day.
Ok so I am generally an extremely optimistic person, but I have just been pushed to the brink of insanity.
-My dogs will not stop humping. I have been yelling at them all day to stop. I lock ruby up in the laundry room and rascal up in the bathroom and they howl and howl and bark and scratch at the door. I really cannot afford for Ruby to have puppies. I don't have the time, the energy, or the knowledge. Having puppies is alot of work for the owner. If Ruby neglects the puppies I will have to feed them myself round the clock. Not only that but it takes vet bills, and that is even if she survives giving birth.
-Someone that I grew up with died today. I didn't know him that well in his adult life but he lives down the road from me and he always brought a smile to my face when he would drive by blairing country music or Nickelback. My mom taught him in Sunday school for 10 years and it just is a wierd feeling.
-Lastly, there is a man at college that keeps bothering me. He is married and I don't know how to avoid him because I have all my classses in one building and I feel like he is ALWAYS in there as I pass through. The other day he asked if he could talk to me privately sometime. I have NEVER had a real conversation with him so I dont know what the heck he could possibly want. I just wish he would leave me ALONNNNE.

The Bachelor
I really enjoy The Bachelor. I usually watch the first episode and the last episode just because all the middle episodes are pretty pointless. This show is good for entertainment purposes but lets be realistic. 25 gorgeous women. 1 gorgeous, rich, intelligent man and what do you think you get? DRAMA. Its bad enough dating one man and having to beat off the women with a stick, much less 25 women to 1 man.
Then the situations they put them in are absolutely unreal. Chocolate fondue, hottub every night, 5 star hotels filled with roses and candels, beaches, gourmet meals, horseback riding, massages, mud baths, saunas, exotic vacations, etc.... How about they put these women all together in a real house, doing real things, and lets see how that turns out!

Today is like the first unofficial day of Spring in my book. I love spring so much! It is time to start planning my gardening and all the things I want to do with my yard this year. I have come to the conclusion that I may have to expand my garden even further than I had originally planned. I have already dug up about 3 more feet of Iris so that I can plant some wildflower seeds. Here are the seeds I have bought so far this year:
-Echinacea (Purple cone flower)
-Zinnia
-Bachelor's Button
-Sunflower
-Zinnia (candy cane mix)
-shasta daisy (it will be a miricle of these damn things come up)
-Mexican sunflower
I also bought 6 red Gladiolus bulbs. I have never had Gladiolus before and I thought I would give them a shot. So that is all for my flower garden. My vegetable garden I have not given much thought too. Tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers are the only things I can come up with so far. Then my herb garden will be basil, mint, cilantro, lemon basil, and parsley. None of them are new. I like growing herbs because they are so easy. They literally spread like weeds.
And lastly, at Lowes last year I bought a rose bush, and a butterfly bush on sale for really cheap at the end of the season. They are in the ground but i missed there blooming season so I am most excited about seeing them bloom this year.
And this is the reason I couldn't bare the thought of leaving my house for 3 months to do an internship!
ttfn.
55 days
-So I just saw on my friends status that there is 55 days left of school.
-yay exciting. except for the fact that I have over 100 pages of papers left to write for projects/everyday assignments. I have roughly a 5 papers due every week. I have kept up with everything really well.
-I have no desire to wear my bellybutton ring anymore. Another reason I feel old.
-My dogs are uncontrollably humping all day. I am really tired of it and I can't wait for her heat to end. pupppies :]
-And for some good news...I am having king crab legs for dinner tonight. I am going to cook them for Alex. :]
